PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair cosmetic exhibiting a stable gel-forming ability, and having further excellent touch of use.SOLUTION: The hair cosmetic includes (a) 0.1-60 mass% of a block type alkylene oxide derivative represented by following formula (I): R1O-[(AO)l(EO)m(AO)n]-R2 (wherein, AO is a 3-4C oxyalkylene group EO is an oxyethylene group l, m and n are each an average addition molar number of the oxyalkylene group and the oxyethylene group 1&lem&le70 1&lel+n&le70 the ratio of the oxyethylene group based on the sum total of the 3-4C oxyalkylene group and the oxyethylene group is 20-80 mass% and R1 and R2 are each a 1-4C hydrocarbon group which may be same or different or a hydrogen atom, and more preferably R1 and R2 are each a 1-4C hydrocarbon group which may be same or different), (b) 0.1-99 mass% of a volatile hydrocarbon oil or/and a volatile silicone oil, (c) a silicone derivative, and (d) 0.1-10 mass% of water.
