To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus capable of improving operability of operation input using a touch panel.An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus according to an embodiment is an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus capable of accepting operation instructions via a touch panel, and includes a storage unit, an identification unit, and a control unit. The storage unit stores related information in which an operation instruction and a type of a finger are associated with each other. The identification unit identifies the type of finger that touched any position on the touch panel.
