PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underpants-type disposable diaper configured to easily pass the legs of a wearer through leg openings.SOLUTION: The underpants-type disposable diaper includes: stretchable areas E stretching in the width direction, at least at area in leg openings LO side in the width direction corresponding to the leg openings LO of an outer wrapper body 12 and shrinkage-ratio decrease areas D formed at parts in the leg openings LO sides in the stretchable areas E.
