PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oral skin-improving agent, exhibiting good skin- improving effect by oral ingestion, by which problem of occurrence of coloring and foreign odor during storage is suppressed and excellent in storage stability, a food composition for improving skin containing the improving agent and a skin-improving method.SOLUTION: This oral skin-improving agent comprises refined hyaluronic acid having &ge90%, preferably &ge95% purity and 750,000 to 1,200,000, preferably 800,000 to 1,000,000 average molecular weight as a main ingredient. The ingestion of the oral skin-improving agent in an amount of &ge5 mg per day to human enables improvement of skin.COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO【課題】 経口摂取により良好な肌改善効果を示し、しかも保存中に着色や異臭の発生の問題が抑制され、保存安定性に優れた経口用肌改善剤及びこれを含有した肌改善用食品組成物並びに肌改善方法を提供する。【解決手段】 経口用肌改善剤は、主成分として純度が90%以上、好ましくは95%以上で、平均分子量が75万~120万、好ましくは80万~100万である精製ヒアルロン酸を含有する。この経口用肌改善剤を、1日当たり5mg以上ヒトに摂取させることにより肌の改善が可能になる。
