PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately determine a plant species without being affected by a length of time required for collecting spectral data.SOLUTION: A plant species determination device comprises: a median calculation unit an area division unit and a collation unit. The median calculation unit calculates a median of a reflectance in an infrared wavelength area based on spectroscopy spectral data including a reflection spectrum in multiple zones in a plant-species determination target area. The area division unit divides the determination target area into multiple partial areas based on the reflectance in the infrared wavelength area in each of multiple reflection spectra and the median of the reflectance. The collation unit collates the reflection spectrum in the partial area with a predefined reference spectrum for each partial area to determine the plant species in the partial area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】スペクトルデータの収集に要する時間の長短に影響されることなく、植物種を精度良く判別する。【解決手段】植物種判別装置は、中央値算出部と、領域分割部と、照合部と、を備える。中央値算出部は、植物種の判別対象領域内の複数の区画における反射スペクトルを含む分光スペクトルデータに基づいて、赤外波長域における反射率の中央値を算出する。領域分割部は、複数の反射スペクトルのそれぞれにおける赤外波長域の反射率と、反射率の中央値とに基づいて、判別対象領域を複数の部分領域に分割する。照合部は、部分領域毎に、部分領域内の反射スペクトルと、予め用意された基準スペクトルとを照合して部分領域内の植物種を判別する。【選択図】図1
