PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembly for an inhalation assembly having a sealing member cooperating mechanically with a metering element.SOLUTION: An assembly for an inhalation device 1 comprises: a storage chamber 15 configured to hold a plurality of doses of a substance 2； and a metering element 33 configured to be moved with respect to the storage chamber. The metering element comprises a metering chamber 40, in which a sub-quantity 14 of the substance can be retrieved from the storage chamber when the metering element is moved in a dosing direction with respect to the storage chamber.
