The present invention relates to a leukocyte removing filter and a method for producing the same. The leukocyte removing filter includes a fiber filter configured to selectively filter leukocytes. A dinitrophenyl group can be formed on a surface of the fiber filter, thereby providing a technique capable of selectively removing leukocytes contained in a blood preparation. According to the present invention, as the dinitrophenyl group is formed on the surface of the fiber filter, the dinitrophenyl group binds to the leukocyte present in the blood preparation when the blood preparation passes through the fiber filter, and the leukocyte can be easily separated from the blood preparation.
