An injection device comprises a first sub-assembly (110) comprising a chamber(112) for holding a fluid and atransfer assembly (116) moveably disposed within the chamber. The chambercomprises an exit aperture and an inner surface andthe transfer assembly has an outer surface substantially in contact with theinner surface about its perimeter. The transfer assemblyis adapted to transfer fluid into the chamber when the transfer assembly ismoved within the chamber.
