The invention relates to the field of biomedicine and nanomedicine. The invention makes it possible to increase the diagnostic or therapeutic effectiveness of an agent which can be introduced into an organism, and can be used for increasing the effectiveness of methods for diagnosing and treating various diseases, on account of a more effective (passive or directed) delivery of the agent to target cells, and for improving the pharmacokinetic indices of the agent (circulation times), etc. The essence of the invention consists in a substance for increasing the diagnostic or therapeutic effectiveness of an agent which can be introduced into an organism, the substance comprising at least a component which, when the substance is introduced into the organism, makes it possible to use the reticuloendothelial system to remove from the blood stream at least objects which are circulating in the blood stream, but which are not artificially created nano- or microparticles or opsonins binding non-specifically to the component mentioned, wherein the above-mentioned removal of the above-mentioned objects causes at least partial blocking of the reticuloendothelial system. The technical result when using the invention consists in creating a method for blocking the cells of the reticuloendothelial system by introducing a small quantity of a foreign substance or a safe bio-compatible substance, and intensifying the blocking effect.L'invention concerne le domaine de la biomédecine et de la nanomédecine.
