A toothbrush monitoring system is disclosed that includes a toothbrush having a sensor and a base station. The sensor records data about the quality, quantity and position of the toothpaste, and the system can analyze the data and provide feedback on the quality of the toothpaste. This feedback will motivate users to improve their brushing habits, leading to a reduction in plaque, decay and gingivitis.
