The present invention relates to novel compounds derived from Echinacea culture roots and their anti-inflammatory use, and more particularly, to alkylamide, polyacetylene and lignan compounds separated and purified from Echinacea culture roots； It relates to an anti-inflammatory composition comprising the novel compound as an active ingredient. The novel compound derived from the Echinacea culture root of the present invention has not only an inhibitory effect of nitric oxide (NO) production, which is an inflammatory metabolite, but also an inhibitory effect on the production of inflammatory cytokines, TNF-α, comprising the same as an active ingredient. The composition of the present invention can effectively inhibit inflammation and can be usefully used as a material for improving, preventing or treating various inflammatory related diseases.본 발명은 에키나세아 배양근 유래의 신규 화합물 및 이의 항염증 용도에 관한 것으로, 보다 구체적으로는 에키나세아 배양근으로부터 분리 정제된 알킬아마이드계, 폴리 아세틸렌계 및 리그난계 화합물； 상기 신규 화합물을 유효성분으로 포함하는 항염증 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 에키나세아 배양근으로부터 유래된 신규화합물은 염증성 대사산물인 산화질소(NO) 생성 억제 효과뿐만 아니라, 염증유발성 사이토카인 TNF-α의 생성 억제 효과를 갖는바, 이를 유효성분으로 포함하는 본 발명의 조성물은 염증을 효과적으로 억제할 수 있어 다양한 염증성 관련 질환을 개선, 예방 또는 치료하는 소재로 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
