A talar implant system comprises a body. The body includes a bone contactsurface and anarticulation surface located opposite the bone contact surface. The bodydefines at least oneangled fastener hole extending therethrough from the articulation surface tothe bone contactsurface along a longitudinal axis. The articulation surface is configured tomimic articulation ofthe talar dome. A fastener is sized and configured to be received within theat least one fastenerhole at a first angle with respect to the longitudinal axis of the fastenerhole. A fastener cap issized and configured to be received within a proximal end of the at least onefastener hole. Thefastener cap couples the body to the fastener.
