PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a makeup cosmetic which can emit clear fluorescence and is excellent in transparent feeling (clear feeling), and a new coloring material which is suitable for the cosmetic.SOLUTION: A makeup cosmetic contains: (A) one or more of oil soluble dye selected from the group consisting of Red No. 218, Red No. 223 and Orange No. 201 (B) a higher fatty acid metal salt and (C) an oil content, wherein the amount of the pigment compounded is 0.5 mass% or less.
