PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately evaluate the exposure of a subject and the image quality of an image when performing radiation output modulation to reduce a radiation output to be smaller than that in a normal case by a predetermined view angle range in order to reduce the exposure of a high radiation-sensitive region near the body surface of the subject in scanning with a radiation tomograph.SOLUTION: Two ranges are displayed. The one range is a desired first range DR that is designated in the body axial direction of a subject. The other range is a second range ER that is different from the first range DR and is supposed to be substantially affected by the effect of radiation output modulation when the radiation output modulation is performed thereby to irradiate the first range DR with a radiation that receives the radiation output modulation and also the radiation output modulation is performed in accordance with the condition of the radiation output modulation determined in consideration of scan characteristics. Consequently, the unintended exposure reduction is recognized.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】放射線断層撮影装置によるスキャンにおいて、被検体の体表面近くの放射線感受性の高い部位の被曝低減などを目的として、所定のビュー角度範囲だけ放射線出力を通常より小さくする放射線出力変調を行う際に、被検体の被曝評価や画像の画質評価を適正に行えるようにする。【解決手段】被検体の体軸方向において指定された所望の第1の範囲DRと、第1の範囲DRに放射線出力変調を受けた放射線が照射されるように、かつ、スキャンの特性を考慮して決定された放射線出力変調の条件にしたがって放射線出力変調を行った場合に、放射線出力変調の効果が実質的に及ぶと予想される、第1の範囲DRとは異なる第2の範囲ERとを表示する。これにより、意図しない被曝低減が把握できる。【選択図】図5
