PURPOSE: A fruit collection apparatus using a rake and a method thereof are provided to collect fruits from roadside trees while flexibly moving by one person riding on the back of a vehicle and collecting the fruits using the rake. CONSTITUTION: A fruit collection apparatus includes a rake unit (10), a supporter (20), a connection unit (30), a collection unit (40), and a storing unit (50). The rake unit includes plural hooks and a handle (14). The supporter is located on the lower side of the rake unit with the constant interval with the rake unit. The connection unit connects the rake unit and the supporter. The collection unit has one end connected to the supporter.
