Provided herein are osteogenic placental adherent cells (OPACs), methods ofusing OPACs and OPAC populations,and methods of culturing, proliferating, expanding, or differentiating theOPACs. Further provided herein are methods ofusing the OPACs to formulate implantable or injectable compositions suitablefor administration to a subject. Still furtherprovided herein are provides methods for treating bone defects with OPACs andcompositions comprising OPACs. Also provided hereinare methods of using OPACs in the treatment and management of multiplemyeloma, e.g., reducing the progression of, halting theprogression of, or improving, one or more symptoms of multiple myeloma in anindividual having multiple myeloma, comprisingadministering a plurality of OPACs to the individual.
