The sampling device includes a tubular main body having a length and defining a lumen, the tubular main body defining a lumen that extends the length of the tubular main body, the tubular main body having a distal end sized for insertion into a body cavity and having a proximal end defining threads and a flexible sample container, comprising threads for engagement with the tubular main body wherein the lumen of the tubular main body is in communication with the flexible sample container when the container is engaged.
