PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To jet a liquid in at least one of an extension direction of an optical axis of an observation window and an extension direction of a conduit axis of a treatment instrument channel in a wide range in simple constitution and to improve cleaning performance.
SOLUTION: In this endoscope 2, the tip end face 3A of an insertion part 6 is provided with the observation window 18a, a treatment instrument channel opening part 19a, and a forward water supply port 21 for jetting forward a liquid from the tip end face 3A, the jetting direction of jetting the liquid from the forward water supply port 21 is at least one of the extension direction of the optical axis G1 of the observation window 18a and the extension direction of the conduit axis G2 of the treatment instrument channel opening part 19a, and the forward water supply port 21 is so constructed that the liquid is spread along the extension direction.
