The present invention provides an apparatus and a system for monitoring a biometric signal and a method for monitoring a biometric signal using the same. The apparatus for monitoring a biometric signal comprises a biometric signal monitoring unit performing monitoring on the basis of a result obtained by monitoring a battery to measure a biometric signal according to a monitoring scheme for minimizing power consumption, and a biometric signal measurement unit measuring electrocardiogram by determining an operation of at least one biometric signal measurement sensor under the control of the biometric signal monitoring unit.본 발명은 생체신호 모니터링 장치 및 시스템, 및 이를 이용한 생체신호 모니터링 방법을 제공한다. 생체신호 모니터링 장치는 전력소모를 최소화하기 위한 모니터링 방식에 따라 생체신호를 측정하기 위해 배터리를 감시한 결과에 기초하여 모니터링을 수행하는 생체신호 모니터링부 및 생체신호 모니터링부의 제어에 따라 적어도 하나의 생체신호 측정센서의 동작을 결정하여 심전도를 측정하는 생체신호 측정부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
