PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high frequency signal generator that keeps from upsizing and is easy to assemble.SOLUTION: A board mounted with circuit components for generating a high frequency signal and provided with an output electrode for outputting the high frequency signal to an output terminal is disposed in a superposed relationship to a power supply in a casing. One end of a cable comprising a core, a metallic conduit and an insulator disposed between the metallic conduit and the core so as to surround the core is connected to the outer terminal of the casing, and the other end of the cable is provided with a first connector. The board is provided with a second connector that fits in the first connector, and the other end of the cable is fixed thereto.
