According to the present invention, a water supply device for a companion animal comprises: a water container provided with side walls and open at the top； a pump installed inside the water container； a water supply pipe connected to the pump and transporting water therethrough； a water supply plate disposed within the side walls of the water container at a higher position than the side walls, and provided with a water supply hole in communication with the water supply pipe and an upper surface through which water supplied from the water supply hole flows； and a water receiver disposed on an opening of the side walls of the water container to be separated in a downward direction from the water supply plate and provided with a hole to discharge water dropped from the water supply plate into the water container.
