PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for highly producing a target protein in a recombinant plant.
SOLUTION: The terminator comprises one of DNAs of the following (a) to (c): (a) a DNA comprising a specific base sequence (b) a DNA comprising one of a base sequence of from base number 1 to one of base numbers 450 to 550 of a DNA comprising a base sequence different from the sequence, and having a terminator function increasing the amount of the expression product of the gene linked to the upstream thereof, compared to that by the terminator of a nopaline synthase gene and (c) a DNA comprising a base sequence obtained by deleting, substituting or adding one or several bases from, with or to the above base sequence of the DNA of (a) or (b), and having the terminator function increasing the amount of the expression product of the gene linked to the upstream thereof, compared to that of the terminator of the nopaline synthase gene. The recombinant production method of the gene product uses the terminator.
