PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which does not suppress diffusion of body fluid due to an embossment, enables a user to confirm an accurate diffusion state of the body fluid, and prevents the user from feeling discomfort due to stickiness.SOLUTION: An embossment 10 is constituted by: a body fluid discharge embossment 11 formed generally along a pad longitudinal direction at a region corresponding to a body fluid discharge portion H and comprising a shape line swollen toward a pad width direction outer side longitudinal embossments 12 formed generally along the pad longitudinal direction in front and rear parts of the body fluid discharge embossment 11 respectively and inclined embossments 13 extended from outer side ends of the longitudinal embossments 12 and inclined toward a pad width direction central side. The inclined embossments 13 function as a graduation and enable a user to confirm an accurate body fluid diffusion state. Ends of the right and left inclined embossments 13 are provided while separated from each other in a width direction, thereby not suppressing body fluid diffusion and preventing discomfort due to stickiness.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
