PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lidded container reminder device which, after reminding a user to take an item, can confirm and record the information about the user taking the item.SOLUTION: A reminder device for use on a lidded container according to the present invention comprises a detection module, a reminder module, a communication module, and a controller. The detection module comprises: a first detection module for detecting a rotation of the reminder device within a first plane； and a second detection module for detecting an angular deflection of the reminder device within a second plane. The invention also relates to a container with the reminder device. According to the invention, manual filling of an item is eliminated and failure of filling is avoided.
