PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of displaying, at an early stage after capturing an image of a subject, an image for determination of whether the image capturing completed successfully or not, based on tomographic data.SOLUTION: Provided is an image processing apparatus to process images generated by a plurality of three-dimensional tomographic data sets obtained by measurement light controlled to main-scan a first site of a subject continuously a plurality of times and then main-scan a second site different from the first site continuously a plurality of times, which plurality of three-dimensional tomographic data sets are obtained by optical coherence-tomographically imaging the subject a plurality of times at different time.
