PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surgical treatment instrument 10 which has no risk that a battery 18 is exhausted during a surgical operation while being wireless, and also achieves treatment with high power.SOLUTION: A surgical treatment instrument 10 includes: a power incoming unit 11 having a power incoming coil 12 coupled to an AC magnetic field M and outputting electric power； a treatment part 20 driven by the electric power； a drive circuit 19 for supplying electric power to the treatment part 20； a battery 18 which stores electric power supplied from the power incoming unit 11 and outputs the stored electric power to the drive circuit 19； a switch (changeover part) 17 for switching the power supply to the battery 18 and the drive circuit 19 and switching the output destination of the electric power received by the power incoming unit 11 and the electric power stored by the battery 18； and a control part 16 for controlling the switch 17.【課題】 ワイヤレスでありながら、手術中にバッテリ１８が切れてしまうおそれがなく、かつ、大電力による処置を行うことができる手術用処置具１０を提供する。【解決手段】 手術用処置具１０は、交流磁界Ｍと結合する受電コイル１２を有し、電力を出力する受電ユニット１１と、電力により駆動される処置部２０と、処置部２０に電力を供給する駆動回路１９と、受電ユニット１１から供給された電力を蓄え、蓄えた電力を駆動回路１９に出力するバッテリ１８と、バッテリ１８及び駆動回路１９への電力供給を切り替える受電ユニット１１が受電した電力及びバッテリ１８が蓄えた電力の出力先を切り替えるスイッチ（切替部）１７と、スイッチ１７を制御する制御部１６と、を有する。【選択図】図１
