The coding sequences can be used in DNA constructs orexpression cassettes for transformation and expression in plants. Compositionsalso comprise transformed bacteria, plants, plant cells, tissues, and seeds.In particular, isolated nucleic acid molecules corresponding to glyphosateresistant nucleic acid sequences are provided. Additionally, amino acid sequencescorresponding to the polynucleotides are encompassed. In particular, the presentinvention provides for isolated nucleic acid molecules comprising nucleotidesequences encoding the amino acid sequence shown in SEQ ID NO:3 or the nucleotidesequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:1 or 2.
