PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation image processing device, method and program for suitably suppressing scattered radiation components of a non-shield image region by suppressing an estimation error of scattered radiation of the non-shield image region in a subject image having a shied image region radiographed by shielding radiation by a shield in an irradiation direction of the radiation and the non-shield image region.SOLUTION: There is provided a radiation image processing device in which: a subject image Ik is acquired; region information for identifying a non-shield image region RA and a shield image region RB of the subject image Ik is acquired; the spread of scattered radiation occurring in a subject part where radiation transmits in an irradiation direction of the radiation is estimated on the basis of a photographing condition and the region information of the subject image Ik; a scattered radiation component of each position of the non-shield image region RA is calculated by estimating that no scattered radiation which spreads from the subject part where a shield shields radiation in an irradiation direction of the radiation to the non-shield image region RA; and the scattered radiation component of each position of the non-shield image region RA is suppressed in accordance with the calculated scattered radiation component.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】放射線画像処理装置、方法およびプログラムにおいて、放射線の照射方向に遮蔽物によって放射線が遮蔽されて放射線撮影された遮蔽画像領域と非遮蔽画像領域とを有する被写体画像において、非遮蔽画像領域の散乱線の推定誤差を抑制して、非遮蔽画像領域の散乱線成分を好適に抑制する。【解決手段】被写体画像Ikを取得し、被写体画像Ikの非遮蔽画像領域RAと遮蔽画像領域RBとを特定する領域情報を取得し、被写体画像Ikの撮影条件と領域情報とに基づいて、放射線の照射方向に放射線が透過する被写体部分において発生した散乱線の広がりを推定し、放射線の照射方向に遮蔽物によって放射線が遮蔽された被写体部分から非遮蔽画像領域RAへ広がる散乱線がないと推定して、非遮蔽画像領域RAの各位置の散乱線成分を算出し、算出した散乱線成分に応じて非遮蔽画像領域RAの各位置の散乱線成分を抑制する。【選択図】図3
