The present invention relates to a disposable patient covering surgical drape for angiographic or electrophysiologic procedures, comprising a central liquid impermeable and breathable region, defining a plurality of surgical access sites and adjoining corresponding optically transparent side regions.The main feature of the invention is that the surgical drape further comprises, on said central region, at least high absorbance portions and/or wings which can be arranged on the sides of the patient neck.
