PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device by using an acoustic wave for acquiring information of an analyte, capable of reducing an arithmetic amount and accelerating processing.SOLUTION: The device that is an analyte information acquiring device comprises: an element for converting an acoustic wave which propagates from an analyte through a holding member, into a reception signal on an element position； storage means for storing the reception signal； and an information processing part for generating characteristic information of the analyte by using the reception signal. The information processing part determines whether, a unit area is a numerical value analysis object unit area in which, a delay time of the acoustic wave is acquired by numerical value analysis, or an interpolation object unit area in which, the delay time is acquired by interpolation processing, for every unit area of the analyte, performs numerical value analysis for the numerical value analysis object unit area, performs interpolation processing by using the delay time acquired in the numerical value analysis in the interpolation object unit area, then, for every unit area, selects the reception signal from the storage means on the basis of the delay time and generates the characteristic information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1【課題】音響波を用いて被検体の情報を取得する装置において、演算量を低減して処理を高速化する。【解決手段】被検体から保持部材を介して伝搬する音響波を素子位置において受信信号に変換する素子と、受信信号を保存する記憶手段と、受信信号を用いて被検体の特性情報を生成する情報処理部を有し、情報処理部は、被検体の単位領域ごとに、音響波の遅延時間を数値解析により取得する数値解析対象単位領域であるか、遅延時間を補間処理により取得する補間対象単位領域であるかを決定し、数値解析対象単位領域について数値解析を行い、補間対象単位領域において、数値解析で取得された遅延時間を用いて補間処理を行い、単位領域ごとに、遅延時間に基づいて記憶手段から受信信号を選択して特性情報を生成する被検体情報取得装置を用いる。【選択図】図１
