PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasound endoscope capable of easily adjusting the positioning of an ultrasound transducer relative to a treatment instrument lead-out port provided in a distal end body of an insertion section, and also a method of manufacturing such an ultrasound endoscope.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, an ultrasound transducer 80 can be positioned and temporarily fixed to an ultrasound transducer housing 96 using spacers 98, 110 or protrusions 120, 122. This allows an ultrasound endoscope 10 of the present invention to make adjustment of the position of the ultrasound transducer 80 relative to the ultrasound transducer housing 96 using the spacers 98, 110 or the protrusions 120, 122.
