An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus according to an embodiment includes a data acquisition unit, a position information acquisition unit, and a smoothing processing unit. The data acquisition unit acquires a plurality of two-dimensional image data of ultrasonic waves related to a plurality of cross sections, and registers the plurality of position information in association with the plurality of two-dimensional image data. The position information acquisition unit acquires a plurality of position information associated with the plurality of two-dimensional image data by the data acquisition unit.
