A medicine sorting device (1) specifies the size and shape of the medicine from an image of the medicine placed on a medicine mounting table (133a), and determines the size and shape of the medicine. A swivel mechanism (133b) is provided for swinging the medicine placing table according to the magnitude of the associated vibration and the number of vibrations per unit time.
