PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bush cutting head of a cord type bush cutter, hardly causing sudden breakdown in use.SOLUTION: In a bush cutting head of a cord type bush cutter which cuts bush by rotating a flexible cord, a cylindrical housing 10 and a cover 15 are detachably assembled by engaging a locking claw 13a projected on a housing with a locking receiving part 17a recessed in a cover 15. The locking claw 13a and the locking receiving part 17a are provided in two pairs. Both end parts in the circumferential direction of the locking claw 13a are projected over the central part of the locking claw 13a.
