PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new sheet material feed mechanism achieving downsizing and space saving.SOLUTION: A sheet material feed mechanism 100 comprises: rail members 10 a plurality of driven members 20 movable along the rail members 10 and surrounding the rail members 10 in a rotatable state a sheet material 30 entrained by the driven members 20 and drive means 40 for driving the driven members 20. The drive means 40 includes a rotor in which a plurality of rotating wheels are arranged. Each rotating wheel can take a drive position where the sheet material 30 is sandwiched between the driven member 20 and the rotating wheel.
