An acceleration sensor attached integrally to the cuff is included. An orientation detection unit for detecting an orientation of the measurement subject during blood pressure measurement based on an output of the acceleration sensor is included. A display control unit for performing control for displaying an orientation of the measurement subject detected by the orientation detection unit as an illustration on a display screen is included.
