The present invention relates to a heart valve handling system (10) for a prosthetic heart valve (30), as well as to the use of said handling system (10) and a method for loading a prosthetic heart valve (30) onto a prosthetic heart valve deployment system (60). The handling system (10) comprises a holder (12) having a longitudinal axis (13) extending from a proximal (13a) to a distal (13b) direction, the holder (12) having (i) a holding element (14), having a first end (15) and a second end (16), (ii) first holder legs (18) for stabilizing the holder (12), wherein the first holder legs (18) are flexibly connected with the holding element's (14) second end (16) and extend in the distal direction (13b); (iii) first tongue elements (20) for keeping open the leaflets of the prosthetic heart valve (30), wherein the first tongue elements (20) are flexibly connected to the second end (16) of the holding element (14); and (iv) second tongue elements (22) for fixating the valve to the holder (12), wherein the second tongue elements (22) are flexibly connected to the second end (16) of the holding element (14).
