PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container and a method for efficiently preventing corn degradation, in spite of a simple structure.
SOLUTION: This container has a container body which can hold and seal at least one corn, and a light source which irradiates the inside of the container body with a light. The inner surface of the container body is formed so as to diffusely reflect light emitted from the light source.
