PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent captured insects and an insect trap from falling to a floor surface.
SOLUTION: The insect trap 10 bonds insects to an insect trap sheet 16 obtained by laminating ah adhesive layer 16B to one side of a belt-like substrate sheet 16A, captures insects and is supported by a support apparatus 11. The support apparatus 11 is equipped with wires 61 for hanging the insect trap 10, a lifting and lowering means 62 that winds and feeds the wires 61 and lifts and lowers the insect trap 10 and a receiving member 63 that is arranged below the insect trap 10 positioned separately from the floor surface when the wires 61 are wound by the lifting and lowering means 62. The receiving member 63 controls fall of the insect trap 10 and receives insects dropped from the insect trap sheet 16.
