Die Erfindung betrifft die Verwendung bestimmter Verbindungen zum Verstärken des bzw. eines oder mehrerer angenehmer Geruchseindrücke eines oder mehrerer angenehm riechender Stoffe sowie neue Riechstoffmischungen und parfümierte Produkte enthaltend solche Verbindungen.Use of cyclohexadec-8-en-1-one derivative (I) or a mixture containing at least two derivatives (I) for enhancing the pleasant odor impression of at least one pleasant smelling substances, where the substance is not (I), is claimed. Use of a cyclohexadec-8-en-1-one derivative of formula (I) or a mixture containing at least two derivatives (I) for enhancing the pleasant odor impression of at least one pleasant smelling substance, where the substance is not (I), is claimed. a : single or double bond, where at least 0-4 a represents single or double bond; and X : -O-, -CH 2- (both preferred) or -O-CH 2. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a perfume mixture, preferably perfume oil comprising (A) (I) or a mixture containing at least two derivatives (I), and (B1) at least six odoriferous substances, where (i) the odoriferous substance is not (I), (ii) the molecular weight of the odoriferous substance is 150-285 g/mole, and (iii) the ratio of the odoriferous substance to the total mass of (I) is >;= 99:1, preferably >;= 99.999:0.001; (2) a perfumed product comprising the perfume mixture, preferably the perfume oil in a sensorially active amount, where the amount of the perfume mixture based on the total weight of the product is 0.01-10 wt.%, preferably 0.25-3 wt.%; (3) producing the perfumed product comprising (ai) providing the perfume mixture, (bi) providing at least one additional component of the to-be-produced perfumed product, and (ci) exposing or mixing the sensorially active amount of the perfume mixture provided in the step (ai); and (4) enhancing the pleasant odor impressions of at least one pleasant-smelling substances, preferably enhancing or improving the natural freshness and/or rad
