In the invention, a biocompatible porous composite material for repairing bone defects is proposed which has elastic characteristics that approximate the properties of bone. The material comprises a pyrocarbon matrix and a fibre shell that consists of carbon fibre rods oriented in 4 directions. The mean size of the graphite-like fragments in the structure of the material is less than 30 nm, the mass fraction of carbon fibres in the structure of the nanomaterial is 30-38%, the open porosity of the material is not less than 5 vol.%, and the elastic modulus of the nanomaterial does not exceed 15 GPa. A manufacturing method consists in treating a shell assembled from carbon fibre rods in a gaseous medium of a hydrocarbon and 2-45 vol.% of hydrogen at a temperature greater than the decomposition temperature of the hydrocarbon, wherein the process of forming the pyrocarbon matrix is carried out at a temperature gradient inside the shell of 10-100 C/mm. An implant for repairing bone defects is made from a composite carbon nanomaterial containing a pyrocarbon matrix and a multidirectional reinforcing shell made of rods formed from carbon fibresarranged along the axis of the rods, wherein the implant material has an elastic modulus of no more than 15 GPa, the mass fraction of carbon fibres in the structure of the nanomaterial is 30-38%, the open porosity of the material is no less than 5 vol.%, and the mean size of the graphite-like fragments in the structure of the material does not exceed 30 nm.Linvention concerne un matériau composite poreux biocompatible pour remplacer des défauts osseux ayant des caractéristiques élastiques proches des propriétés de los.
