The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating mast cell-derived allergic diseases comprising elaeocarpusin as an active component. Since elaeocarpusin inhibits histamine release and degranulation of mast cells, and thus inhibits the expression of inflammatory cytokines, it is possible to be usefully used for preventing or treating allergic diseases.본 발명은 엘래오카푸신을 유효성분으로 포함하는 비만세포 유래 알레르기 질환의 예방 또는 치료용 약학적 조성물에 관한 것으로, 엘레오카푸신은 비만세포의 히스타민 방출 및 탈과립을 억제하고, 염증성 사이토카인의 발현을 억제할 수 있으므로 알레르기 질환 예방 또는 치료 용도로 유용하게 이용될 수 있다.
