PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particle supplying apparatus capable of increasing a density of particles to be supplied to concave portions.SOLUTION: An absorbent sheet manufacturing apparatus includes: a substantially cylindrical cylinder part 21 having a plurality of concave portions 212 arranged in a circumferential direction a particle filling part 23 for storing particles of high-absorbent resin in the upper part of the cylinder part 21, and filling the plurality of concave portions 212 of the cylinder part 21 with particles through a particle filling opening 232 in its lower end and a communication part 26 located adjacent to the particle filling opening 232. A concave portion 212a opposing the particle filling opening 232 at a posterior edge of the particle filling opening 232 is brought into communication with external space through the communication part 26. Thus, when particles are filled into the concave portion 212a from the particle filling part 23, air in the concave portion 212a is forced out by particles entering the concave portion 212a and is easily discharged to the external space through the communication part 26.
