The medical device according to Claim. 1, wherein the nanoparticles have an average size of 100 nm or less, preferably 50 nm or less and more preferably 30 nm or menee.9. The medical device according to Claim. 1, wherein said surface further comprises nanoparticles of titanium dioxide having an average size of 100 nm or less, preferably 50 nm or less and more preferably 30 nm or menee.10.
