SOLUTION: The grinding apparatus includes a grinding means (a rotary grinding stone 2) for grinding a material A of the medical suture needle, a vise B for holding a plurality of materials for the medical suture needle, a V-shaped groove 10a and a knife edge 11 for supporting the vise rotatably, a rod 16 and a slide base 13 for linearly closing and separating the supporting means to the grinding means in a horizontal direction, a second rod 17 and an eccentric cam 18 for moving the supporting means in a vertical direction and a motor 14 and a rotating plate 15 for synchronizing the movements of the horizontal and vertical directions and driving. The vise B compresses the held plurality of materials A for the medical suture needle to the grinding means to grind them.
