The present invention relates to an artificial biomembrane using a silkworm cocoon, and to a production method thereof. The biomembrane using the silkworm cocoon of the present invention is characterized by being produced with silkworm cocoon pieces divided in a planar form with two or more shapes by using the silkworm cocoon having a cross section of a first thickness. According to the present invention, provided is an artificial biomembrane using the silkworm cocoon, which not only has biocompatibility and excellent cell culture capability, but also ensures huge reduction in unit costs due to relatively simple production processes, in comparison with the unit costs of a conventional artificial biomembrane. The present invention further provides the production method thereof. Furthermore, provided is the biomembrane with excellent tensile strength and elongation properties as the artificial biomembrane by using the cocoon, and the production method thereof.본 발명은 누에고치를 이용한 인공 생체막 및 이의 제조방법에 관한 것이다.본 발명의 누에고치를 이용한 인공 생체막은 제 1두께의 단면을 갖는 누에고치에서 두 개 이상의 형태로 평면 분할된 상기 누에고치 편으로 제조되는 것이 특징이다.본 발명에 의해, 제조과정이 상대적으로 간단하여 통상의 인공 생체막의 단가와 대비하여 훨씬 절감이 가능함과 동시에 세포배양능이 우수하며 생체적합성을 갖는 누에고치를 이용한 인공 생체막 및 이의 제조방법이 제공된다.또한, 인공 생체막으로의 우수한 인장 강도와 연신율을 갖는 누에고치를 이용한 생체막 및 이의 제조방법이 제공된다.
