PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a root vegetable harvester capable of preventing tearing-off or pulling-out of a foliage part of a root vegetable and smoothly and surely leading the root vegetable to a holding and conveying apparatus.SOLUTION: The root vegetable harvester is equipped with the holding and conveying apparatus 3 for holding the foliage part of the root vegetable, a raising apparatus 28 for raising the foliage part of the root vegetable by moving a plurality of raising lags 28b installed in vertical direction every prescribed interval to the upper part and a grass-dividing apparatus 29 for dividing foliage of the root vegetable by moving a plurality of grass-dividing lag 29b installed in the vertical direction every prescribed interval to the upper part. In the root vegetable harvester, the top of the each raising lag 28b is constituted so as to be separate from the grass-dividing apparatus 29 as each raising lag 28b is moved to the upper part. In the root vegetable harvester, tilting angle of a raising apparatus 28 to the horizontal surface is preferably kept to be smaller than tilting angle of the grass-dividing apparatus 29 to the horizontal surface.COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT【課題】根菜の茎葉部が引きちぎられたり、引き抜かれてしまうことを防ぎ、根菜を、損傷なく円滑、確実に挟持搬送装置に導くことができる根菜収穫機の提供である。【解決手段】根菜の茎葉部を挟持して引き抜き搬送する挟持搬送装置3を備え、所定間隔毎に上下方向に複数設けられた引起しラグ28bが上方へ移動することで前記根菜の葉部を引き起こす引起し装置28と、引起し装置28の一方の側方側である前記根菜の未掘り取り側に、所定間隔毎に上下方向に複数設けられた分草ラグ29bが上方へ移動することで前記根菜の茎葉を分草する分草装置29とを設け、前記引起しラグ28bが上方へ移動するほど該引起しラグ28bの先端が前記分草装置29から離れる構成とした。更に、引起し装置28の水平面に対する傾斜角度を分草装置29の水平面に対する傾斜角度よりも小さくしても良い。【選択図】図4
