A range of motion prosthetic foot and ankle joint with a passive damper having limited dorsiflexion - plantarflexion pivoting to accommodate various environments and a damper - spring arrangement to provide resistance to planatarflexion and bias the foot in dorsiflexion. The ankle joint has a ball and socket joint design with guide rails to limit degrees of freedom, forward of a hydraulic damper and spring arrangement. The damper is a twin tube model with design modifications for better performance.
