The present invention addresses the problem of providing a malaria vaccine exhibiting a higher protective effect than that of conventional malaria vaccines. The present invention was perfected due to the discovery that, after a recombinant virus other than a baculovirus that includes a gene encoding an amino acid sequence of a malaria antigen, plasmid DNA that has a gene encoding an amino acid sequence of this malaria antigen introduced thereto, or a protein that has an amino acid sequence of this malaria antigen is administered to a patient, administering to the patient a recombinant baculovirus that includes a gene encoding an amino acid sequence of this malaria antigen and a gene encoding an amino acid sequence of DAF results in a high protective effect being exhibited.La présente invention concerne un vaccin antipaludéen présentant un meilleur effet protecteur que celui des vaccins antipaludéens classiques. La présente invention a été perfectionnée grâce à la découverte suivante, qui est qu'après avoir administré au patient un virus recombinant autre qu'un baculovirus qui comprend un gène codant pour une séquence d'acides aminés d'un antigène du paludisme, de l'ADN plasmidique comprenant un gène codant pour une séquence d'acides aminés de cet antigène du paludisme qui y est introduit, ou une protéine qui comprend une séquence d'acides aminés de cet antigène du paludisme, l'administration au patient d'un baculovirus recombinant qui comprend un gène codant pour une séquence d'acides aminés de cet antigène du paludisme et un gène codant pour une séquence d'acides aminés de DAF permet d'obtenir un effet protecteur élevé.従来のマラリアワクチンと比較して、高い感染防御効果を示すマラリアワクチンを提供することを課題とする。 マラリア抗原のアミノ酸配列をコードする遺伝子及びDAFのアミノ酸配列をコードする遺伝子を含む組換えバキュロウイルスを、該マラリア抗原のアミノ酸配列をコードする遺伝子を含むバキュロウイルス以外の組換えウイルス、該マラリア抗原のアミノ酸配列をコードする遺伝子が導入されたプラスミドDNA、又は該マラリア抗原のアミノ酸配列を有するタンパク質を患者に投与した後に、該患者に投与することにより高い感染防御効果を示すことを見出して、本発明を完成した。
