PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaning system that eliminates the waste of electric energy and that can clean air by efficiently deodorizing, disinfecting, and removing the specified substances in a short period of time.SOLUTION: The air cleaning system includes: a catalytic function-added porous heating-element 300 comprising a porosity, obtained by mixing aluminum powder, graphite powder, clay powder, and wood flour into a sintering raw-material mixture, kneading the whole, and subjecting to molding and sintering the same and catalytic function-added porous heating-elements 100A,100B in which a platinum group catalyst is supported on an electrodes-attached porous-resistance molded-body having a positive resistance-temperature characteristic in which the resistance value is low at ordinary temperatures and the resistance value rapidly increases when rising to a predetermined temperature, in which the catalytic function-added porous heating-element is set at a predetermined temperature by adjusting the voltage applied between the electrodes 17,18, and in which the temperature state is maintained by the heating from the non-electrode-attached catalytic function-added porous heating element, to activate the catalytic function.COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】電気エネルギの無駄をなくし、短時間に効率よく消臭、除菌、特定物質を除去して空気を浄化する空気浄化装置の提供。【解決手段】アルミニウム粉、黒鉛粉、粘土粉、木粉とを混合した焼結原料混合物の全体を混練し、成形し、それを焼結した空隙を有する触媒機能付多孔質発熱体300、及び、常温では抵抗値が低く、所定の温度に上昇すると急激に抵抗値が増大する正の抵抗温度特性を有する電極付多孔質抵抗成型体に白金族触媒を担持させた触媒機能付多孔質発熱体100A,100Bを具備し、電極17,18間に印加する電圧によって触媒機能付多孔質発熱体を所定の温度とし、かつ、電極を有しない触媒機能付多孔質発熱体の加熱により、その温度状態を維持し、触媒機能を活性化する。【選択図】図8
